ROY CHOI

We've known Roy for well over a decade now. One of our first projects was for him 11 years ago. We've designed for him, broken bread with him, and gone to festivals with him. 

This time around, Roy wanted a coat that worked well behind a grill but also worked as a more elevated piece away from the kitchen. He challenged us to design a coat versatile enough to cook in but also go out in. We paid homage to his roots in the streets, but gave it some grown folk updates mirroring where he is at in his life. 

The coat is a boxier fit, meant to be worn loose and comfortable. The added collar tab for Roy adds an element that immediately dresses it up. We designed a staggered pocket detail with chain stitch to add some personality. And of course kept the big interior stash pocket for all your needs on and off shift.
