HOW LA EATS 3
How LA Eats was born in early 2020 during the pandemic to support our favorite minority-owned small restaurants in LA. It was our way to give back to a community of immigrants that has made Los Angeles the greatest eating city in the world.
For our 3rd year, we added a new element, partnering with 5 LA-based friends who come from an array of creative backgrounds. Each chose a restaurant that made up a part of their identity as Angelenos.
We’re excited to share with you these 5 creatives, their favorite minority-owned small restaurant, and the aprons they collaboratively designed.
Each apron sold this holiday season will feed a family of 4 for a full week through our partnership with LA-based non-profit, No Us Without You LA. All net proceeds of apron sales will go straight to our homies at NUWULA who for over 3 years now have been feeding 1,500+ families, many of whom are disenfranchised back of house restaurant workers still recovering from the affects Covid has had on the industry. They are the true heroes and backbone of our vibrant restaurant community.
