Finery’s First Austin Project: Designing Custom Uniforms for South Congress Hotel
Our first project designing and creating a collection of custom uniforms in Austin was for South Congress Hotel. Back before Austin’s boom, our challenge was to create a fully bespoke collection that would reflect this up and coming neighborhood. In other words, uniforms that provided an exciting mix of classic denims and fabrics associated with old Austin, with modern colors and silhouettes representative of new Austin. After months of dedicated design work both in Los Angeles and Austin, our vision eventually came alive in the form of bespoke uniforms designed to make the staff feel comfortable, stylish, and proud to work in hospitality. Since then, we’ve worked with other hotels in the area like Proper Austin, The LINE, Hotel Magdalena, and Carpenter Hotel to name a few.
