Finery x Commune

We’ve always admired Commune. From a few miles away, we’ve always regarded their considered approach to design as a source of inspiration for our work. So when our mutual friend Bianca Chen of JF Chen introduced us to Roman and Steven, we were immediately smitten by our shared ethos, shared city, shared clientele, and most importantly, shared community.

When they asked us to collaborate on a Sack Coat for their staff, we of course said yes. Through several conversations, designs, samples, & tests, we are proud to present this piece as a true collaborative effort between Finery & Commune.

The Sack Coat is made of 8 oz cotton twill sourced from LA and stone washed down for a worked-in feel. The piece is fully sewn in Los Angeles supporting our vibrant local manufacturing community. We did 2 colorways for the studio- navy and ecru.
